This is one of the most common questions I get during consultations, and for good reason — both treatments smooth and strengthen hair, but they work differently and suit different goals.
What nanoplastia does
Nanoplastia uses smaller molecular particles that penetrate the hair shaft at lower heat, restructuring hair from within. It's gentler on fine, sensitized, or colour-treated hair, and tends to preserve more natural movement.
What hair botox does
Hair botox is a deep-conditioning treatment that fills the hair shaft with proteins, amino acids, and vitamins. It doesn't restructure hair the way nanoplastia does — instead, it coats and fortifies, adding softness and shine while taming frizz.
So which one fits you?
If your hair is fine, colour-treated, or you want maximum smoothness with lower heat exposure, nanoplastia is often the better starting point. If your hair is drier or you want a deep-conditioning boost alongside smoothing, hair botox tends to deliver that softness more directly.
Neither is objectively "better" — the right one depends on your hair's condition and what result you actually want, which is exactly what gets sorted out at your consultation.
